Anyone racing Bear Mt. May 13th? I tried to reg for Cat4 and my friend told me it filled up in 20 minutes. There's a wait list, which is about 50+ people. I'm wodering why the organizers wouldn't add another race or break up cat4 into age catagory? Oh well. I'm racing masters 40+ since 4's closed. I'm going to get my butt kicked.

The entire field for like 1200 people for last year's lake placid ironman closed up in like, an hour.

hey, at least you get to race. i was toying with the idea, but there is no way i would be in good enough shape for the spring edition. maybe fall.

but yeah, it sold out really quick! which goes to show that this race attracts a lot of attention. good luck! it will be a tough one.
