Hey ladies and gents. I went to my LBS yesterday and asked what kind of road bike would give me the best bang for my buck and be under $1,000. We went through te Trek bikes and Cannondale and they suggested that the Giant OCR 1 would be my best buy. It had higher qualty components on it for that price. What do you folks think?

I ride a 2001 OCR-1. Good parts for the money, composite fork and full 105. Rides great. I highly recommend it. Go for the TCR-2 if its not a big increase in price. Full 105 on it too I believe but some other features, like an aero seat post. Let us know what you pick,
