simply an amazing book in my opinion. im sure at least some of us here have read this classic. the thing i like is that actual general machine maintance is only an undertone of the book. for those who havent read it, the main issues are the presence of quality, two styles of thought (classic/romantic), and the effort made to find a happy medium between the two. questions/comments encouraged.

Havnt read it yet, but i have heard good things about it. I've recently pickuped MotoGP Techonlogy and Rossi's autobiography, What If I Never Tried It.

(I think i have a copy of Zinn and the Art of Bicycle Maintence somewhere)

You should read Edward Abbey's review, it's in Down the River and it's a hoot.

I've read it a few times and the concept of trying to define quality was something new to me. It took a while to wrap my head around it.
