Hey, fellow 50+ers. Mrs. Slim and I have a week's vacation in Newport Coast, CA, March 4 through March 10. We will be at the Marriott Newport Coast Villas. I sure wouldn't mind getting together with someone for a ride, sometime during the week. So, if any of you live in that area and would like to ride, PM me or post. I'm not in my topmost shape, so I'm not real fast, but 30-40-50 miles would be OK.

Well, I can't help you with SoCal rides, but are you going to do the Ride Around the Buttes on April 14th?

Mr. East Hill and I will be visiting Yuba City to see how Mr. East Hill's mum is doing, and we figured we might as well have some fun while we were at it.

Hmmmm. I might have to consider that. I was going to do a "ride my age" (60) that weekend anyway. I know it's a great ride.

Mr. East Hill and I are signed up for the 40 mile 'Classic' ride, but they do offer a century as well. It would still be nice to meet any of the BF folks, if you happen to be doing the ride :) .
