Mountain Biking - Talk about a 'sweet' deal. Cateye 7 cordless (almost) even swap from Enduro 8 Cateye

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
This past Monday when I placed the order for my Hardrock Comp, I went ahead and purchased the Specialized Allez helmet, and a Cateye Enduro 8 computer. When I was looking at the receipt, it turned out the shop overcharged me about $8.00. My accessories were to be discounted 20%. It appeared, I got hit for tax twice. Anyway; I brought it to their attention, and he mentioned since I was going to pick up a few more things anyway, he would make up the difference then, and of course, said they were sorry for the error.
So; a buddy of mine just bought a new mtb, and then added a cordless Specialized computer. I thought; cool! Maybe I will swap the Enduro 8, and pay the difference, and get a cordless.
I went back to the shop yesterday to check out the cordless computers they offered, and chose the Cateye 7 Cordless. He gave it to me for 'nothing' in exchange for the Enduro 8! How sweet is that??!!
My bike should arrive today.......

Oh yeah. I will get some photos. I 'now' have a bike rack by Thule (3 bike), a friend let me have, that will actually work on my MAZDASPEED. It has enough clearance for my spoiler.
I tried a 'Bones' rack; but the clearance wasn't enough.

Excellent! My bike arrived today, and I had a little test ride, but they need to install the Cateye, and check everything else out. I hope to pick it tomorrow

you should install it yourself so you can fix it if you lose signal. plus you'll start learning about your bike.

Giddy Up! I know what you mean. But; since they were still tweaking the bike yesterday, and wanted to re-check the truing of the wheels, I certainly had no problem with them mounting the Cateye.
The bike just arrived from California late yesterday afternoon, and they wanted to make sure everything is as it should be before I took delivery. A real nice shop, for sure - nice people!
I want to pick it up today if they have it ready, but we have had nothing but heavy rain (and even a tornado nearby), the last couple of days, and although, it is a mountain bike, and it will get wet, dirty, etc..., I don't want to carry it home on the back of my car in a storm. So; I might wait until Monday.
