Will all dahon mini bike owners please speak up.Tell us what you like /dislike about your bikes. I have been basing my opinion on the experiences of an intrepid Scotsman i communicate with on The dahon site. dahon Mini bikes have a full size frame and do not fold in the middle only at the bars. There is one mini bike model available in the U.S 4 models internationally.

This might be the wrong forum to ask. Perhaps you should try the Dahon users forum on their website.

I think James already has posted on the Dahon Forum (and I know who he is referring to).

I think I have only seen one person on a Hammerhead in London. I guess the sales are OK as Dahon are persevering with mini-bikes, but they don't seem to have much of a popular following (yet).

I refer to datako apparently there are no minibike owners here . I thought there might be a few at least still from what datako tells me his hammerhead which is much the same as the smooth hound is a good bike.Dahon only lists the smooth hound in it's 2007 lineup.sales were probably disappointing but they are not yet ready to give up on the concept.I think the idea is sound.

Dahon Piccolo here. I just got it yesterday though. So far I'm enjoying it. I brought it on the Metrolink and the bus. It rained today, though:-(

Am i Glad you like your Piccolo .Do you have fenders on it it sounds like you need them.Your reply points out a flaw in my question though 'not everyone really knows what a mini bike is.It is a basically full size frame with 20 inch wheels and the handlebars fold over it does not fold in the middle .It makes a long narrow package

You are correct. My Piccolo does fold in the middle. I wasn't aware of the official definition of a mini bike. You should post some pics of a few...

Sorry I was born in the stone age and do not have the equipment or know how to post pictures .Anyone who wants to can visit the dahon website. Thank Goodness Mr Slate gave me back my job at the quarry.:) The definition I gave while not official is workable. Thank you for your post.
