40 mph wind from the north this morning coming into work. Which sucks because work is to the north, as is the arctic. "Wind Chill" was supposedly -20f, but while real -20f would have drained me and frozen my eyes shut, I feel curiously energized.
The good news is--home is now SOUTH, which means all I have to do is raise my arms and I can sail all the way back.

Here in Wonderful Windy Wyoming we all fall over when the wind drops below 20 mph. Our NWS won't even call it "windy" until the sustained winds go over 30mph.
For your viewing pleasure, I give you our last 72 hours observation.

This data is collected on Warren Air Force base, and our house some 15 miles away at the other end of town (and up on the bench that surrounds Cheyenne) is consistently colder and who knows how much more windy. I'm sure the cagers on their merry way to work must think I'm a complete nut as I struggle to maintain 9mph, but they should see me fly home!
Cheers!
