Hello friends,
Just wanted to let you know of the newly-created Durham Bike Co-op!
We are a non-profit, membership-driven, consensus-based organization.
The Durham Bike Co-op will be partnering with Bull City Headquarters, another local group creating a community center, performance venue, and art gallery at 723 N Mangum St (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=723+N+Mangum+St,+Durham,+NC+27701&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=52.418008,85.693359&layer=&ie=UTF8&z=14&ll=36.000505,-78.895997&spn=0.052842,0.108404&t=h&om=1), Durham.
We are a project of the SURGE (http://www.surgenetwork.org/) (Students United for a Responsible Global Environment) Network, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, so donations are tax deductible.
If you are interested in finding out more about the Co-op, especially if you want to be a volunteer member, please come to our next monthly meeting: Sunday, March 4, 4:00p.m. @ Francesca's on 9th St.
