Greetings,

Just wanted to brag a little :)

I broke 1000 miles on my bike today. According to the program I run on my Palm Pilot I've ridden 1005.02 miles in 101 different rides this year. Not bad seeing how I bought my bike on January 29th.

Congrats. I always enjoying watching the odometer turn from x999 to (x+1)000

Johnny,

The jet-stream is completely out of whack. I blame it on Al Gore. My weatherbug.com temperature now reads 47 degrees in Central Park (across the street from me). We're supposed to get the 70 degree temps on Monday. I'll hop back on the saddle then!:)

zach ---> i'm a week or so behind you. but on my ride on saturday (5/18) i turned 14,000 miles on my 'new bike' from 4 years ago. (same astrale, same battery) ---and i missed it!! came home with 14,003 miles. not bad for a full time worker, dad, husband....person.

Steve :) I was worried about that nasty jet stream all week.It looks like we might be in for some very nice riding in the next few days.

All: thanks for the congrats and thumbs up. It's been great riding the first 1000 I'm looking forward to the next several that will follow.

RiPHRaPH: My problem is I've been changing computers a lot recently so if you went by the computer I'm only up to 250 or so :) That's why I use my Palm Pilot to keep track of my total mileage.

Today was a great day for us here in GA. Donna and I took Steffanie, my step daughter, out for a ride with us. I think I'll need to get the add-on for the bike rack soon :)
