Haven't seen any down here yet. The days are getting warmer, so it should be soon.

I went to the hill country about 2 weeks ago and they just started blooming.

They're likely in full bloom in the hill country now and on the wane. We've been having a lot of rain though so they may stick around longer. Here in DFW they're just starting to really take off.

They're all over the north side of San Antonio right now.

I'm told that there are plenty out around Fayetteville as of last weekend. I rode the Bluebonnet Express, which was poorly named this year. One field of bluebonnets, only, though it was pretty.

Sounds like it was aptly named. The Bluebonnet Full ride would have Bluebonnets on the entire route. You know, like Taco Bell Express has limited menu selection; Bluebonnet Express has limited Bluebonnets. :D

Gee, now that you put it that way, I guess it DOES make sense. :)

Good luck on the MS150 this year. Maybe see you out there on the road.

I rode the Express last weekend also and just a few Bluebonnets scattered here and there. Maybe the wind blew them over, at least the last 10 miles or so :). The bonnets are in full bloom all around the the White Oak Bayou.
