BMX - What was your stupidest mistake on your bmx?

I'd have to say mine was when my friend gave me me a set of slams and a pitchfork and i was riding home with them and I got carless. I wasn't paying attention and accidently stuck the handle of the slams in my back wheel and blew out 4 spokes and bent 2 on the stock nyquist pro wheel.

Your stupidity was revived with the fact that you have Slams.

Mine would probly be painting my old frame gold then black without taking it apart so everything got sprayed and ugly.

The other mistake was throwing out my powerlink. I miss it.

I did so many pedal grinds that not only did my pedal get severely dented and misshapen, it fell out of my cranks and stripped them a bit.

I havent rode since like september, how do you think I feel. Can't wait to heal up and get all the bearings and chan on my bike replaced. Guess ill also need to pray I don't kill my driver once again.

At one point in september i thought my knee was done. I dumped a dirtbike on a dirt road in 5th gear. So then you know how it goes from there. Just like a slip-n-slide with the addition of friction and rocks. My knee never swelled up or bruised but it still hurts if i kneel down. Think i might have a bone chip in there or something.

Ow. I can see that in my head. I don't know how it wouldn't get swelled up or bruised. I guess you are lucky. You should go to a doctor and get some tests done.

I dont know, weird stuff happens when you fall going fast. I hit the ground on my left and got all my cuts on the right and hurt my right knee. The only damage to my left was a broken big toe so it dont make much sence to me. I honestly couldnt tell ya if i slid or rolled.

That's why I've been out for so long... I was going like mach 100 and messed up. I don't even remember how I fell.

When you expect to be recovered? You gunna need therapy?

I don't know when I'll be recovered. I've been doing physical therapy for 3 months now. I have a long way to go.

That must be miserable. Well good luck with that. Wish you a speedy recovery. i dont think I could ever go that long without a leg.

Thanks man. It still is miserable. I'm probably atleast partially psychotic by now. I just sat here and watch bike videos for the longest time. I miss it so much.

Hit a kicker at my cousins a few times at like 15' then set it to about 25' and did it a few times. Then around 30' and got my face broken off the pavement... Tried to jump off a cliff to a hill about 15' below and I slid right into a rock about 5' tall.
