I was talking to an aquaintance today (actually he's from Ireland and he speaks with a Brougue accent) and he said he found a new bike, still in it's original carton and plastic packaging. It was out by a dumpster.
He said he was trying to sell it or at least give it away.
I asked him what does the sticker on it say and he said "Redline".
I told him that if it's a Redline, it's probably a four hundred dollar ($400) bike.
Am I right? I recall Redline as being a high-end BMX. I don't think Redline made any cheap bikes.
So this is a question of age/value, I'm not offering this bike for sale, I just want to know if you all agree with me that it's a $400 bike.
All I know is that when I was a teenager, I wanted a Redline but couldn't afford one.
