I have been looking for a hummer bike for a boy in my town who's family is quite poor. He loves these bikes ever since he has saw one. He helps out by voluntering around town, and gets nothing for it. Since he has been so much help we are trying to get him one. We were hoping someone would donate one, but there are not many people willing to donate anything these days with the exception of a few. So are willing to pay up to $250 for one. If there is anyone who wants to help please let me know. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.:)

I tried that but the people who respond want to sell it for $500-$800. Plus shipping I had one guy who said 325 plus shipping but then he wanted the money through western union wire transfer which means it is most likely a fraud. Thanks though
If you wait long enough a reasonably priced one will appear on eBay. See if the 'poor kid' can get a job at a local bicycle shop. Employee discount on a whole bike or parts for a frame bought on ebay would be valuable, the knowledge he would acquire about bikes would be priceless. See if there is a local bicycle maintenance class.
Where I live there is no bike shop. And i have been to ebay they are going around $400 by the way his name is Jimmy.

That sucks. Is that $250 from donations or your money. Get a fundraiser up through your friends and family. I hope you can get it!
The $250 would be out of my pocket. Everyone i know gave me their cans so im going to go turn those in today and add that to the $250 Thanks
And i do understand about a different folder this was my choose to get a hummer and i have been looking in to other folders. Im trying to get a mountain bike like folder for him but i am still looking into others, I called one number a few times and no one ever picked up so i might try another number on the montague webpage.
I also am bidding on ebay. So i hope it goes good!!
Well im bidding on ebay I turned in the cans and got 75 more dollars so im up to 325 and on ebay they go for around 375-400 so its looking good!!!!!!!!

But if i dont get one im looking into other similar bikes, by the way he dosent know that im trying to get him one he likes these bikes so im trying to get it. I dont want to get him excitided then not get one.
Ebay seems your best bet. I saw hummers going for $300 a while back on ebay. I have a hummer which is a great bike and worth every dime.
