Did the commute to the new job and back today. Tried finding a simpler more direct route, found one that drops about 5 miles. So, it'll be a 20 miler going to work and 25 coming home(I'm sticking to the bike paths after midnight).
I am really psyched to do this commute. Feel, there is something wrong with me, cause I can't wait to attack the hills, and the route. Was even flashing to the future and what it would be like to commute in the dead days of summer, when the humidity is high, there's no wind, and the pavement just bakes your soul. I'm going to love sweating off the pounds!
One unforseen gift is at the end of the trail at work is a lake. If I leave early, mash some big gears, I can cool down in the lake before hitting work. May have to explore this better, cause lakes can be stinkier than BO.
