I picked up this frame about a year ago and my girlfriend road it with a mix of mostly low end Japanese components, it started to be dismantled at the beginning of the winter and plans slowly changed, finally I realised it wouldn't take much for me to put together a Nuovo Record group for it so I bought a set of 165mm strada crank (1984) and had most of the other stuff. Ended up with some super record brakes from a 1984 Guerciotti and I have the mint 1981 RD and the FD already, shift levers are super record I believe (recessed as opposed to raised lettering). Other stuff came together slowly but I had patience. The only detracting components are the beat up turbo and the cinelli 1E stem. The only thing not italian is the superbe pro 32 spoke hubs which are laced with bladed spokes to Campy Omega Strada tubulars. Oh and the toe clips are christophe. I have to get some super glue to re glue the rips in the missing hood, once I relaced that I will wrap the other side. The frame appears the same as the one in this 1984 brochure/advertisement

Very nice, now hit the swap meets for a nice Brooks or Rolls. The girlfriend should be pleased.

Well here daily commuter is a nishiki International, but this is for leisure, in the summer I can usually get her out about once a week.

Very nicely done cyclotoine. I don't see anything wrong with the stem. I really like the 1-A stem. They are nice and stiff. The saddle doesn't look bad either.
