Trouble installing Cougar Chariot ezHitch

The ezHitch bracket is bigger than the cutoff in my frame standoff. Has anyone else had this issues and if so, know a workaround? Possibly a spacer or some other solution? :eek:

I could have this problem if I used the bracket on my daughter's bike, and in her case, I know a serrated washer would act like a spacer and would solve the problem.

How thick a spacer do you think you would need?

I actually took the trailer to the LBS and they put a serrated washer in and it seems to do the trick. Thanks!
