As silly as it sounds it's a good idea to stretch a little bit. Or just warm up instead of going 'cold turkey' into all your normal stuff.

Just do the same arm and leg stretches you do in gym or for other sports?

well, i just hurt the muscle where u bend your leg under the kneecap and i think its from not stretching, i haven't rode since december so it might just be that i need to warm up.

Just stretch quads, right arm or left arm, feet together and try to touch your feet, right foot over left try to touch your feet, butterfly. Just basic stretches.

Stretch like you do in gym. That's all that you need to do really. Touch your toes, arm circles, spread your legs and touch your toes, etc.

optimally, your stretching needs should be met post physical activity (PA). pre PA merely needs a light, progressing to moderate, warm-up.

stretching prior to PA can be contraindicated. i know this goes against what many of you have been taught. however, think about the Muscle Sliding Filament Theory and the consequence of stretching as applied to this...

I personally don't stretch but that's because I guess I don't need to

Only stretches I do are a few arm ones, maybe a quick back one.

Same. Then normally i'll kinda take it slow riding for the first few minutes.

nah but that's actually a good idea though damn straight! flexibility maintenance from adolescents on into adulthood and later years is an essential part of health.

lots could be gained from a healthcare standpoint in this country....and in the individual's state of heath

No
and

Its a spade
No.

It's a flathead shovel. As we American trail builders like to call it.

A shovel with a handle thing on the end would be more recognizable...

I always just take an easy lap or 2 around the track and don't hit anything to big.
