Southern California - Solvang Registration Wanted

My area is a mecca for road and mt biking. I usually prefer to ride in the Santa Cruz mountians among the big redwoods with lots of shade and plenty of mountians to climb. Its kind of ironic, we have all this great stuff around here, but most of the local centuries are on baren boring areas. But the Santa Cruz mountian Challenge hits alot of the prime stuff. Stop, Drop and Roll is a metric that rides alot of my regular roads.

We know many of you delayed registering as you didn't want to waste your money if it was going to rain again...........and are now suffering "sticker shock" at our late fee of $110. We are sympathetic to your plight. The club has decided to lower the day-of-event feet to $100 and hope you can attend what looks to be a super weekend of cycling on our Silver Anniversary of this ride!

The Santa Monica Mountains have to be the best riding around: good, but not killer elevations, a wide variety of grades, stunning views, and I live there, what could be better than that. :)
