Just curious if anybody knows of a Redline Bicycle dealer in western Canada, preferably in Alberta. Really interested in their Monocog or Monocog Flight bikes. Thanks in advance.

Search for authorized Redline dealers in your area:

Thanks for the reply fifty5. I tried that dealer locater already, I think it might just be for the US though. It asks for zip codes but I did try my area code. Unfortunately nothing in Canada came up. Any other suggestions. I may have to just shoot them an e-mail. Thanks again.

The Bike Doctor in Saskatoon is a Redline dealer. I know they do not have the bike you are looking for in stock but they are great for special orders. www.bikedoctor.ca (http://www.bikedoctor.ca)

Thanks so much for the link oneredstar, I'll make sure to check them out. Saskatoon is only about 2 1/2 hours away.

Hey,

The Canadian Redline distributor isn't bringing in any adult bikes this year. I have heard they may begin next year if they sense there is a demand.

Out.

There has not been a reliable distributor based in Canada for sometime. Bikes are ordered from an American distributor, I believe Seattle Bike Supply. Easy enough to get from a good bike shop.

Hopefully you've had some success with suggestions from previous respondents regarding Redline dealers. United Cycle in Edmonton deals with BMX Redlines, but as another has indicated, the issue is getting to the bikes shown on the Redline site connected to the Seattle supply line. I don't believe United Cycle can order these, but it's probably worth asking. Otherwise the Saskatoon Bike Doctor option might work.

A couple of years ago, I purchased a Redline monocog in ordering it through North Division Bicycle in Spokane, WA (closest to Alberta US city of some size). They were very good, although had not dealt with many Canadian orders and it took a bit to figure out how to use Fed Ex internationally (Fed Ex was also the customs broker, because there is also duty-- 12% or so-- as the Redline's are principally manufactured offshore, so not eligible for NAFTA certificate of origin). They also exempt you from WA state sales tax.

Of course, when I ordered the bike, the Cdn $ was around .94US, so that was part of the attraction. That being said, I really like the bike, although principal use is pulling the children's chariot around and it's also great gearing and easy maintenance for winter riding.

Good luck... I think I'm in the market for a 925, so I'd like to know if you have any western Canadian success
