hi all,
my bmx is 3 or 4 yrs old. a haro f series. i don't bmx, just like taking it out for casual spins. i really only bought it because back then, i didn't know a thing about cycling. it just brought out some childhood sentimentality. so i guess you could call me a poseur.
anyways, i was in the lbs buying my road bike couple months ago and took a gander at the latest lines of bmx. either i've been studying roadies too hard or something is changing in the bmx world. the seat tubes all looked way shorter creating a more extreme slant of the top tube. the sharper triangle of the frame geometry causes the bikes too look worse-off IMO. but okay, that's a purely aesthetic call. but are these changes improving performance? the new geometry is seen for all bmx applications (flat, dirt, etc).
what's new in the bmx world? these new bikes look more kiddyish.
cheers.
