Anybody ride this epic (as far as number of riders goes) event yesterday? How many rode? I heard 15,000+ :eek: , but where can you find the actual numbers? There were plenty of crashes, but a pretty safe ride considering the mass of unskilled riders. The weather was awesome.

I certainly hope that isn't true. Sadly, I did just hear that one of our long-time SFVBC crew was hospitalized due to a crash in this event.

I was there and saw 5-6 folks down and bloody. I had a great time despite the mass number of inexperienced riders. I heard about the death of the rider last night, so unfortunate.
