General Cycling Discussion - Bicycle site .... strange sense of humor

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I always liked Ibis's bike naming, my dream bike is still the Ibis hakkalugi, with the moron tubing and hand job cable hanger's...

I wasn't aware the particular shop was so well-known...myself,
being in the East Coast (Toronto/Montreal.)
... law enforcement probably will go for the PEELER model.

kona also has some unique names as well. I'm not familiar with hawaiian but if somebody else is i'm interested to know the translation for some of these bikes. kikapu, kahuna, kula, hahanna, lana'i, hula, makena, tiki
My Kona is named, Humu Humu nuku nuku apua'a
I wonder what it means.

I don't think its the official state fish... IIRC Hawaii doesn't have an official state fish yet.
