There are two words in that sentence that you won't find in any dictionary.
Besides, threads are meant to be hijacked.:p

if my campy cranks come in tomorrow, pictures on wednesday. :)
I can't wait. :D It will be just like part one of last Sunday's ride... a cutie roadie pulling at 23 MPH with a bunch of guys in tow. ;)
Be sure to point the cutie roadie out so I can draft behind her/him. :p :D

Last Sunday's CR rode an Orbea. My crystal ball tells me that this Sunday's CR probably will ride a Trek 5500 and be faster than last Sunday's CR.

You're so kind Jason. :p Okay...I'll promise to pull through Laguna Canyon...at least 26mph. Did I mention it's an ever so slight decline? ;)

Guys with your given name are beyond cute.

But Dang, that is EARLY!!
Well, what else would I be doing... sleeping

I would Like to say I am in. But if I go I am about 100% you will all lose me! But I will train all week and see how I feel. So put me down as 50/50%. Again.. slicks on my MTB... I think I might be able to handle 40ish miles.
If anyone wants to skip some of the climbing, there will be a bailout point before Newport Coast and you can meet back up with us at Macarthur and PCH. :)

There's no shame in skipping Newport Coast if you're not in the mood for it. I might have done it once or twice...

The only real reason for me to skip any large climbs would be due to the fact that I am not light, my bike isn't light and... I am not a very strong rider yet.... MTB with slicks might move faster than one with knobs but it still takes a lot to move me and my bike:( :o

My excuse on that particular day was...hmmm...lemme think...crap, I can't remember! Oh wait...I think it was Rose's suggestion that we skip Newport Coast and get Peet's instead and Tiff and I jumped on it. Please notice that there is more than one bike there. :p

You're probably lighter than me. You can take my bike on the climbs, and I'll wait with the coffee.

"I am not light"
Darn, can't use that excuse.
"my bike isn't light"
Oh man, can't use that one, either.
"I am not a very strong rider"
Whew! I have an excuse should I ever choose to skip a large climb. <big sigh of relief>
I'm so getting dropped.
So you're in, right?

Yup, you're in. Otherwise, how will you be waiting around with coffee?
