Thanks for a great ride, V Bob. Never been up that way, and although painful in stretches, was very glad I went. Only in California can I leave palm tree and beach country, and within a few hours of climbing by bike, be in high alpine country with snow in the shade.

Great to meet everyone. You valley bikers are hard core.

Another great ride with some great people. Good to see Paul again and good to finally meet Cleave. Yes, there was plenty of snow up there and it was cold and windy at the top. Something memorable about descending a twisty, car-free road for 20 miles, or so. We went to the campstore on East Fork on the way back and by this time I had nausea again, I think from a bar I ate. They talked me into climbing Little GMR and waited at the top. When I got there, Extort and 1265 Lombardi had joined up. By then, I felt fine again and everyone was laughing and joking, so I was glad I did it. Then came another long, twisty, car-free drop to Sierra Madre. We made it through the construction area without issue, and when we finished Brandy was there waiting for the other group. A great day!
