If you know brasing and that bike is steel its quite easy to repair... you need two new seatstays... thats quite cheap... like 50 bucks total... if you send the bike somewhere else to get it fixed... probably will be like 200 bucks plus painting? Dunno... thats a good frame to practice brasing anyways...

I recently bought a frame off Craigslist that had bent driveside chainstays and seatstays. I sent it to Dave at Southwest Frameworks (www.southwestframeworks.com). The repair and repaint was flawless. I paid just over $500.00, which I think was a bargain considering how cheap I got the frame. I've done business with Dave before and his work and attention to detail is superb.

It could be repaired, but it would be an expensive repair. The seat stays need to be replaced, and there is a good chance the chain stays have been bent too far to be safely straightened. It has been done before though....
