Well, made by Carlton, England, branded for Huffy for sale in US.

Ha, ha. Don't know "English", chrome, cottered? Back in those days, they put as much care into the finish on the lower level bikes as the upper. I imagine in its day this was on par with the Raleigh Super Course (though no Reynolds I don't believe).

Oh, just looked, cranks are WILLIAMS. Sorry, know next to nothing about cottered crank brands.

Interesting, but mine is older than that catalog picture judging by the round hole Normandy highflange. Not sure exactly when they changed to slots.
