Diamond files are my friends too!

I've got the same bug and was just looking at http://www.novacycles.com/

I'm thinking of a touring bike to start.

Right now I'm torching on old frames for practice.

Simplest way? Get your stuff at Nova, including a crown with the rake built in and build a straight bladed fork. It will be easier to keep it aligned without a jig.
Do some practice brazing beforehand too!
