How do I keep the wind noise out of my ears when biking? Ear warmers are good but to hot in the summer. I've seen like shields made of plastic foam you put on the helmet straps, but that was about 10 years ago.

this would be an excellent idea, if it could block wind noise without blocking out other ambient noise...

there's nothing like the peaceful, serene ride from just hearing the sound of the wheels, and a little bit of the chain

I keep a ball of cotton in my tire repair kit for checking inside of tire for tiny fragments. Guest what else the cotton is good for ?

Well, believe it or not, I saw a guy riding the other day while talking on a cell phone. That will do it for one ear.

What?

:)

OK, just kidding.

Turn your head sideways. No joke.

But this compromises your vision.

I'm not trying to be funny. I'm already funny looking.

Rolling down a pretty step hill, few days ago, I actually noticed that wind reminds me my motorcycle riding days... 70 mph on the interstate where wind blasts, try to move you off the lane and you use your arms to catch with the streams, something like using a wing.
I wonder if other motorcyclists experienced this too...

So, other than hills, wind doesn't bother me.
