Foo - Hey, thanks photobucket.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

This is the page I'm getting. I would host it, but since photobucket loves to screw people over I cant. The thing I dont understand is, if they're doing maintenance why are all the pictures I posted on the net gone? hopefully this turns out to be a false alarm, but I doubt it is. On other forums people who use photobucket still have their stuff up, and my other account works so I dont know what the deal is.

I don't appear to be having any problems at the moment.

Ya, I'm pretty sure I just got screwed over for no reason. I don't know if I want to cry of find the jerk who's responsible and kill his family. It took so long to get the account the way it was, laid out perfectly with all the folders and stuff, I had pictures on there I don't even have anymore so I cant get them back.

I have most of it, but I dont have the time or means to get it all back up and organize it the way it was.
It's not even so much the lost pictures as it is that now I don't have any pictures on the internet anymore, my sig is gone, all the pictures I've ever posted on any forum are now gone, and they only let you upload so many at one time it would take longer to repost it all then to do anything else.

well said.
. in a somewhat related topic, i have made the mistake of resizing photos to smaller size and not saving the original, only to find that when i tried to blow them back up, the resolution would be blurry. so now i save everyhting seperately

my account is back now. check yours.
Looks like it's time to apologize to the nice people that host your pictures for you for free. ;)
That's why all my online pics are stored in my personal 100MB space provided by my ISP.

I put copies of what's important to me in several places so I won't lose everything if something happens. One place I put pics is photobucket, but I keep copies on at least two different hard drives too.

Possibly. But make not mistake, they aren't doing this out of the goodness of their heart.

Your sig picture from photobucket seems to be working.

Oh I know. I'm just waiting until I fill up my free account. I did that once before but I believe they have increased the size since then. Anyway, once I fill it up I'll have no problem with paying for their service.
