This is just bizarre! But cool... Probably heavy on the $$$ too.

Says it has some kind of power assist, but I'm trying to figure out what the crank hooks up to...

It's clearly just a concept, but with proper gear ratio I would pay a nice chunk for that one!

I'm always suspicious of cartoony-looking concept art. To me it signifies that the actual design doesn't really fit, so the designer had to make it look more fluffy so it would mush together.

Well, it could run on hydraulics, or it could be a battery powered rear wheel that the speed is determinded by how fast you peddle. (just guesses).

Some sort of giant belt running round inside the rear circular doohickey?

Yeah, the drive train is a bit of a mystery. Anyone want to comment on how it steers? I don't see anything remotely analogous to a head set anywhere. But hey, at least someone's thinking outside the box, right?

I think the "head set" would be in the rectangular thing connecting the two rings. The front ring, wheel and handlebar would move as one piece (and your pedal/foot could easily get caught in the front ring... ).

Yah, definitely a computer rendered image. If they could pull off something that was actually useable which folded up like that, it would be awesome.

Just don't leave it laying around in Boston
