Right now im in my heavy cardio stage. Im increasing my work outs and continue lifting while i do all this. Now to my question, during the day i get hunger pains. Today i took 10 steps back in my quest for that perfect body. I ATE A SNICKERS BAR!!!. EVen though i had lunhc, i was still hungry an hr later. I do try to space out my meals, but with limited time, you can only sit around and cook so much. What kind of quick fixins do you all reccomend for a mid day snack or for hunger pains?
First I would look at the meal you ate an hour earlier that left you with hunger pangs an hour later and assume it was either off on the macronutrient profile(protein/carbs/fats)best suited to you or just not quite enough.Try adjusting it somewhat as it should leave you without hunger pangs for several hours .Second if you need a quick fix snack try a protein bar low on refined sugar or maybe a blended protein drink with added fruit.Also some do well on a trail mix type snack such as fruit/nuts/seeds.
