Anyone have the Lake MX101 shoes (http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?category=84&subcategory=1041&brand=&sku=19862&storetype=&estoreid=&pagename=Shop%20by%20Subcat%3A%20Mountain%20Shoes)?

or the

Diadora Toluca Trekking Shoe (http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?category=84&subcategory=1041&brand=&sku=16788&storetype=&estoreid=&pagename=Shop%20by%20Subcat%3A%20Mountain%20Shoes)?

How do they fit? I have a wider foot.

Lake has a wide version of the MX101 but Nashbar does not carry it in my size. I currently have a pair of Shimano SPDs size 45. A bit tight but OK.

How is the power transfer?

Got the Lakes. Really like them. Nice and comfortable and wide enough for my feet. Highly recommended.

Thanks

Do you have the regular Lakes or the wide version?

What about power transfer? Are they stiff enough so you don't get a hot foot?

I probably have 6k or more miles on my lakes. I wear a size 43, normal width. Gonna replace these with same or newer version.

Sorry to take so long replying. Mine are 41 wide. I have short fat feet. These shoes are really comfortable and seem to be well made. I wear them for all my riding. I like a reasonably stiff sole. These arent racing shoes but they are effective.

I ordered the normal width. They did not have my size in the wide version. I hope they fit. :)

I have an oooold pair thats still going strong. They are a bit too wide for my feet, but it was before they had a wide and narrow version.
