Your call got dropped just as you were giving a radio station your contact information so they could send you the million dollars you just won so you threw the phone at a brick wall. It happens.

Someone's phone got run over by a tractor-trailer.
No one is close yet. It was not out of anger. It was damaged by a vehicle but not by its tires.:D

Siu is closest , but still a ways off.
You got frustrated at the phone's sound quality? Slight damage like that can be explained by normal wear and tear. ;)

Thankfully no .The battery is the compressed ball right above the keypad.
This looks like the work of ninjas to me.

I'm thinking some kind of industrial, construction, or farm vehicle. The kind that grind things up, crush them, and/or spit 'em out.

looks like it got dropped onto a table saw, launched across the room into a brick wall....but that theory goes to hell in that there is a large part of it still intact.
I threw one of my old cassette walkmen into the table saw back in high school shop class....after hitting the wall, there was no piece bigger than a quarter.
My real guess is you got it caught in the drivetrain of your ATV.
Or maybe This???
That's exactly what I was thinking. So how much $$ damage that cause to one of those turbines? Seem's like it would be expensive...

Oh,That must have been glorious, talk about a "Flame Out"!!
Disclaimer: No turbine engines were injured in the making of this thread. :) Not even a scratch.
For those in the know it only went thru the fan stage and not the turbine.
While hooking up test probes and equipment to the engine my belt clip failed and the phone fell to the ground. It blended in with wires bundles and hoses that were tied to the ground. When the engine power was increased the phone was sucked off the ground and ingested. The engine test was a simulation of a geese flock ingestion. So the next time you fly be comforted with the knowlege that a modern aircraft engine can eat a flock of geese+1 cell phone and keep on ticking.
The worst part is all the harrassment I`m getting fron co-workers. "Hey, let me borrow your phone" or Hey I` tried calling you but......" Hey do you have so-and-so`s number? Yada Yada Yada.
Separating the phone parts from the test medium was kinda yucky too.
