So far rscycle.com seems to have the best deals. The two bikes I'm looking at are half off.

Their XC - Iron Horse Azure Comp 2006 (Cross Country)
Thei AM - Iron Horse Hollowpoint MKIII Comp 2006 (All Mountain)

I really want to get the MKIII but they only have sizes 15 and 21 left. But the Azure Comp has a 19" in stock, which happens to be my size.

For doing single track, some small jumps, uphill/downhill and what not, would the Azure Comp be fine? I'm rough on my bikes so I was at first thinking that the MKIII would be a better bet.

I'm 6'1" and weigh in at 200lbs. Will any of the two bikes that I have mentioned above do well for me? Are there better bikes that I should be looking at (for the price)?

Im not sure if its better or not, but Cannondales Prophets are fairly affordable, you might want to look into what price they are in your area.

The cannondale website seems to be down. Regardless, I'm pretty sure that I am not be able to afford a Cannondale. $1200USD is my budget. Not $3000-4500.

I am aware of your budget, but there are Cannondale Prophets that would be around the $1200 mark (http://www.cannondale.com/bikes/07/cusa/mountain/prophet/model-7VE6.html). And the cannondale site works for me.

Yes, because every Cannondale costs $3000 and up.

None are more than $4500 though.

The Cannondale site is up and running for me now. The price of the Prophet is around $1299 from what I have seen. I'll be sure to check my local dealer this week to see how much they will let it go for.

BTW how much does the Prophet 6 weigh in at?
