its in my garage and it still has the bum headset. I gave up for a short time, like 2 days.

I need a new fork and headset, if I can find a threaded fork I'd do it...But I dont feel like getting a non-threaded fork + headset+stem...Thats too much for that bike.

Its a 60cm frame, I know the steerer tube is pretty long

if it's a 60, then i can already tell you they won't be long enough. they both came from 56 frames.
ah well.. i do have access to a larger one, so i'll check the size when i get a chance.
