Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Where can I find the best price on a Fuji Touring? Will consider past year models. There are very few shops around here that carry Fuji at all.

This can be a real problem, since bike shops rarely stock touring bikes. While there are online Fuji dealers -- www.bikesdirect.com springs immediately to mind -- it's hard to recommend buying a bike you haven't test ridden, from a dealer that can't do a proper fitting, and where it's fairly impossible to get immediate service after the sale.
My local shop is willing to order bikes on spec. Yes, they will try very hard to close the deal, but if you order a bike you are under no actual obligation to buy it. When it's a line they are a dealer for, but a model they don't stock, they are usually able to be quite accommodating. Finding a Fuji dealer is the obvious first step -- does the Fuji website list any near you? -- but after that you should discuss the terms under which they'd be willing to get you a sample to test ride.
It's usually a good idea to establish a relationship with a bike shop and then let them serve your needs, in my experience.
