"Foo" is generally defined as the ultimate substitute for "something" that is being measured or discussed. While I believe that the topic of "nothing" could be considered "something" and therefore "foo", others may scoff at such an assertion.

SBW: I have most dissapointing news! I'm so bummed that I could just cry. Anyhow, looks like my work schedule is booked through April. I was so looking forward to a vacation soon. The earliest I could come out would be May-ish. I am so touched that so many people are willing to get together and ride when I get out there. That is pretty awesome! And, thanks for the offer of the mtb! I just may take you up on it, depending on what my brother's collection holds for me.

OH bummer, Liz!! That sucks! Well, hopefully you can come visit your brother (and us) in May and nothing comes us to stop it. I still get a couple of days off a week and can always ask for more. Let me know when you are able to sneak in some time and us Foosters can maybe spend some time together. :)
