Northern California - So...we are just too "serious" in NorCal????

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Seems to be cooler here in San Bruno. Just got back from a ride and it wasn't too bad between 3-5pm. There was a nice breeze at times too.

I did get a ride in today, but I went during the hottest time of the day ... 11-2 ... it was probably 90. Didn't have much energy in my legs ... maybe it was the intensity of the heat????

Ron...I thought of you today as I drove over to Santa Cruz
My computer showed 103 heading up Dublin Canyon and Foothill Rd in Pleasanton today, but I take that with a grain of salt. It was probably only about 95. :p

Anyone else notice anything with the jerseys? They conduct heat like a cast iron pot.
Not that I'm complaining. I just think we didn't even think about the color thing when choosing colors.

Yeah I finally figured out the bikejournal interface. I still log primarily to activebody.org because it has running, cycling, and swimming (for if I ever start swimming). There's a bikeforums "team" on there too.

Just an observation ... we really start our rides late in NorCal. In SoCal, started ride at 8 am, and got finished by 12:30 PM ... and that was a modest 41 miler!

No Steve, the same ride that YOU would start at 9 am would be finished by noon. But we did stop for about 30 minutes at Goldstein's Bagel's, so if it weren't for that, we'd be finished by noon :D
I think AltoVelo would have finished the ride by 11 am.
