I have some stretch laces for my running shoes which I bought to save time in transitions. However, I can never seem to get them as snug as with regular laces. Still thinking about using them for this first tri though. Do any of you have them, and if so, how are they working for ya?
I have them. Got them at the end of the season last year and used them for one race. I have just left them in for training though. They took a bit of getting used to as they seem tighter up near my ankle at the top of the shoe than across the top of my foot. I have adjusted and they feel fine now. It was a bit faster in transition too.

I've been using YANKZ! for the last year.

They're pretty good. The shoes are snug enough but not tight like you can get with regular laces. I can get my running shoes in a matter of seconds (as long as my socks don't bunch up). :)
I might try out another one sometime later this year.
I can get mine tight enough. Sometimes too tight if I'm overexcited, they are definately worth the time savings.

That's my experience as well. I'll be running in them again this week. If I don't run into any issues I'll probably give them a go for this weekend's race.
Thanks!
I've used them for 2 years and love them.
I use them, but instead of using the bungee, I reuse it with the regular shoe lace. This way I can get them as snug as I want them.

I use them. I like them. They are making me lazy too. I'm using regular lace's less and less. slip-on-city. You can go to a fabric store and pick up elastic laces in all the colors and different thicknesses, and they'll have a whole bunch of squeeze tabs so you can get a type that you like. Way cheaper there to.
