I bought the same Time pedals for my touring bike that I had on my mountain bike so I would not have to get two pairs of biking shoes. Is there much difference between road and mountain pedals?

If you're actually going touring with your touring bike then the time pedals and mtn bike shoes might be a better option anyway - you'll be able to get up and walk around without looking like a penguin.

I like the Atacs for road biking. I like the float, I like clipping in on either side, I like how reliable they are in any conditions, and, most of all, I like the shoes.

They're a bit heavier than dedicated road pedals. But so what?
