The Intro: My name is Jeremy and I'm from Lewisville, Texas. I've been riding road for a little over 2 years now and I got started with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's program called "Team in Training". Last June I rode my first century ride around Lake Tahoe and this coming weekend I'm doing my first Olympic distance triathlon in Austin, Texas. I have been married for close to 8 years, sort of have two kids (a beagle and a cat), and have a degree in Biology that I'm not using at the moment. Eventually I plan on getting a mtb to go with my road bike, but that is probably a year or two off. I love riding any bike, I love looking at bikes, I love hearing bikes pass by when I'm walking or running, so I guess you could say I'm hooked. Though I suppose if I'm posting in a bike forum, you probably already knew that.

Welcome to the Forums and good luck with your triathlon. I have always heard that the Tahoe area is a beautiful place to ride. It seems like a great setting for a first century too.
