When I get home from a track practice workout on a beautiful day like today (about 70 degrees) and I'm to exhausted to do anything but go home and do my homework, then sleep. Does anyone else ever find they have issues with training of one sport getting in the way of another? I'm way more serious about running than MTN/Road biking but I still find it obnoxious because riding is way more fun.

When I was working 40 hrs a week at my internship last summer, I had a hard time adjusting. I pretty much lost all desire to ride my bike for the whole summer. It was weird and scary. I want to commute by bike this summer. Bite that fatigue right in the ass.

After 2 800s and 8x400 up-tempo, I dont think I'll give it a shot. I know its only 3 miles of volume but at the paces I was running it sucked.

I used to be a miler and they would send us on a nice 7 mile jog followed immediately by 10 300s on 1:10 followed by a 3 mile "cool down jog". Before I started driving I would pass out on the bus I was so tired. Sucks but I enjoyed it and I knew that my bike would be there for me after the season was over
