Did you ever wish that you had the original owner's manual for that old appliance, tool or vintage bike (or in my case, instrument or equipment)? I just posted on my http://retropeugeot.com/ website a 1974 Peugeot Owner's Manual (generic for all models that year) that I picked-up for a couple of dollars on EBay. Very useful for maintenance or adjusment of early to mid-1970's pugs. Enjoy!

Ok, now I'm totally confused...easily done. According to the pics in this manual the PX-10 had Nervex lugs as late as 74. I have a "plain" lug px-10 and thought I had narrowed it down to 72-73ish. Did they bring the Nervex lugs back, or could this just be an old picture, or did the plain lugs come late on?

I am no expert, but perhaps the manual is confusing and inconsistent with your research is because it appears to be 'generic' for English, German and French-speaking countries (i.e., international). The components on Peugeots may vary from country to country. Hopefully we will get more informed opinions here.

Post 1971, the Nervex lugs were on the PX10e, the plain lugs on the regular PX. This continued until about 1974. About that time, Peugeot set up a custom workshop next to the factory (producing I believe special orders, team bikes-- prior to that they were stock-- and Trackies) and Nervex lugs were sometimes placed on bikes produced there. So it is possible to find a Nervex lugged bike produced later than 1972. In fact, I own one.
