I'm wanting to build my own frame, and I'm a read the instructions first kind of person. What are the books I need to hunt down and know cover to cover?
With thanks,

Easy answer- The Paterek Manual. It's really the only good one out there. He has a website and they sell it through henryjames.com also.

If you are looking to spend some dough, get one of the Paternek videos, covers everything you need to know, and you can see it done in moving pictures. Not riviting stuff, but a good over the shoulder resource for the patient.
Gentlemen,
Thanks for the links and suggestions, I've ordered the Paterek Manual and am searching the web for sites. I do prefer staring at paper to LCD screens for long periods of time.

I may never get to build a lot of frames my self, but this is a DEFINATE interest for me too.
Richardsachs is now in my favorites and the book is on the way.
