Im looking to buy some new shocks fer my MTB. Im lookin between 150$- 400$(canadian), can anybody recomend some shocks and that kinda stuff?? thanks
no caps this time!
Look on eBay. I've seen some pretty good deals for Rock Shox and Marzocchi (sp?) shocks. Like around $170 for a RS Duke XC.

Im looking to buy some new shocks fer my MTB
Do you mean you need a new fork, rear shock or both?
Look on MTBR and Pinkbike, many good deals.

I ca't find very much on ebay except some RST GILA TL fer $40.43(canadian) and i dunno about these and not to be weird er nothin are these any good???

RST does not make a good fork. I would stay away from them.
Check out the Marzocchi DJ2. You should be able to find one for around 225USD. They are not the lightest and do not have external adjustments but they are a good fork.

thanks ill keep lookin and if u kno ne other good prices let me kno again
There was a time when RST made some good shocks. Long before they were the x-mart special. They had a pretty good air-dampened elastomer system (if thats possible). It sucks to see them a laughing stock of suspension.
Actually, as I'm looking through the RST webpage it looks like they still make some high-end forks. I'm going to do a little research on these. If they perform well you could make some great buys on ebay since they're 'taboo' as a walmart brand.

Pricepoint has some good deals going on. Also check out Supergo, JensonUSA and Nashbar. A lot of this year's forks are on closeout as the new stuff is getting ready to be released in Aug.

Since you are in canada Ihave a couple of online companies that may be able to help
I have ordered from both a lot and highly recommend their customer service and pricing :) You should easily be able to find a good fork in the under 400$ range.
Also look on the american sites. Our exchange rate is kicking so much ass right now it is REALLY cheap to buy from the states. :)

Hey Mael, have you ever used airbomb? I get their updates, and they seem to have some pretty good prices for NS type equipment.

I have used their canadian brother bike room. And their prices are wicked for canadian product. I can vouch 100% for bikeroom as they saved me 50$ on an order and hooked me up with a free tool :)...

Hey Maelstrom i went to that site and it has sum good stuff on it, btu i went to specials and they have RST and sum Rock Sox< lookin pretty nice, but the RST ones look pretty crazy, i dunno wut i shuld do now?!¿!?

In your price range this is what I would look at
Forks are similar in price but have different functions. The first one is better for bigger hits but not rapid fire. The second one is great for general trail riding and medium hits. Both are great for the price.
Bikeroom's build kits are pretty sweet... I wonder if I could convince them to ship to the states :p

www.airbomb.com is the same company. Ask them for that deal and they should be able to help :)
