Look on eBay. I've seen some pretty good deals for Rock Shox and Marzocchi (sp?) shocks. Like around $170 for a RS Duke XC.

Do you mean you need a new fork, rear shock or both?

RST does not make a good fork. I would stay away from them.

Check out the Marzocchi DJ2. You should be able to find one for around 225USD. They are not the lightest and do not have external adjustments but they are a good fork.

There was a time when RST made some good shocks. Long before they were the x-mart special. They had a pretty good air-dampened elastomer system (if thats possible). It sucks to see them a laughing stock of suspension.

Actually, as I'm looking through the RST webpage it looks like they still make some high-end forks. I'm going to do a little research on these. If they perform well you could make some great buys on ebay since they're 'taboo' as a walmart brand.

Pricepoint has some good deals going on. Also check out Supergo, JensonUSA and Nashbar. A lot of this year's forks are on closeout as the new stuff is getting ready to be released in Aug.

Since you are in canada Ihave a couple of online companies that may be able to help

www.bikeroom.com
www.bikecanada.com

I have ordered from both a lot and highly recommend their customer service and pricing :) You should easily be able to find a good fork in the under 400$ range.

Also look on the american sites. Our exchange rate is kicking so much ass right now it is REALLY cheap to buy from the states. :)

Hey Mael, have you ever used airbomb? I get their updates, and they seem to have some pretty good prices for NS type equipment.

I have used their canadian brother bike room. And their prices are wicked for canadian product. I can vouch 100% for bikeroom as they saved me 50$ on an order and hooked me up with a free tool :)...

In your price range this is what I would look at

http://www.bikeroom.com/product.cfm?ProductID=142
http://www.bikeroom.com/product.cfm?ProductID=199

Forks are similar in price but have different functions. The first one is better for bigger hits but not rapid fire. The second one is great for general trail riding and medium hits. Both are great for the price.

Bikeroom's build kits are pretty sweet... I wonder if I could convince them to ship to the states :p
