Hello from a bike geek from NYC who rides fixies, roadies and XC race bikes...and races all three. A typical week is nightly rides in Manhattan on the fixie for 20-30miles (laps in the park), 150+ miles on the weekend on the roadie and when the trails are in good shape I'll run some laps on my XC rig in Westchester and beyond. I am currently training to race a few XC races this fall with maybe one or two road races this summer and an alley cat or two as well.
