I'd like a good, long hug so that I can steal your wallet.

Was he the father of Fettucini Alfredo?

me grampa died last friday... :( didn't know him too well though, but met him several times, real strong character-like. he told my dad not to return to hong kong if he died, because he wouldn't be able to see him anyways. super dude.

Sorry to hear about your grandfather, Mr. Wong.

Oh, al.wong. I'm so sorry. He certainly was a man of self-confidence and a very humble unwillingness to put any hardship on anyone else, based on this request.

I hurt for you and your family tonight. I do feel that pain of loss. You know, since you know me since I started posting. <serious Vega look> PM me any time, baybuh. I so understand so many facets of letting go.

My respects to your grandfather, and to your family. :)

Hugs to VV and to al.wong.

Al, sorry about your loss. Some losses hurt more than others, but they all hurt.

As for me, I think I could use a good swift kick in the @$$. Don't want one, but for as much use as I've been to the world of late, I probably need one. :(

mmkay, bikingshearer. <swift kick to the @$$> Now, let's talk about that. ;)

Al, baybuh. PM me any time. Vega does care, and Vega knows her some loss. <serious Vega look>

thanks vega :)

i'm most impressed by my grandmum. my cousin was crying (she was really close to him), and apparently my grandmum went up to her and said, "why are you crying? he was 91!" she's super strong too as you can tell :)

Al.wong, she is still traumatized. Trust Vega. She's just thinking the usual rationalizations. But she still hurts. Please, al.wong, go and embrace her. And tell her that you love her. And that you can't understand her loss, but you can understand that you love her, and want to support her. She does hurt, this is a Vega promise. FWIW....

Just a little Vega input on losing a spouse. Please give a hug to your grandma from "Vega," an empathetic person who understands the loss of one's "rock." Do tell her, al,wong, that, in spite of my relatively young age, I hold her in my arms, and I feel "it." She will understand. Vega promise.

Al, your grands sound like cool folks.

I love your gramps already... If I ain't good enough to see when I'm alive, don't come see me when I'm dead.

Your grams is just such the pragmatist. Give her a big old Foo hug for me the next time you see her.

But don't lift her wallet! :D
