Hi,
Is cycling the best or what? I've been cycling for many years, not competitively as such, but more as everyday transportation whenever possible. I've learned to enjoy trail riding, and some mountainous terrain as well. I've biked through much of NYC, which I found very exciting and enjoyable. There is certainly a lot to be said of touring and sightseeing from a cyclists perspective.
Although I do own a car, I much prefer getting around by bike. The exceptions would be extreme weather, or having to transport more than I could fit into my backpack. I'm in the process of relocating from the metropolitan NYC area, to somewhere more affordable and warmer if possible. I've been hearing great things about Raleigh, NC for quite some time.
Anyhow I'm here in Raleigh on a temporary basis looking for housing in the area.
Currently, I'm riding a 21-speed front suspension mountain bike, medium sized steel frame, 1.75 tires on 26" alloy wheels.
For all out there in BF, looking forward to sharing stories and info. If your around Raleigh lets ride!
