My Mom is really coming around on my cycling addiction. Tonight she gave me her copy of of the June/July Saveur, an expensive cuisine magazine. Inside it has an article about Bryan Braun's RAGBRAI experience. It does focus on the food, but it is at least a nice article on cycling. I am going to try to scan it at work tomorrow and if a few of you want to see it I would be willing to email it to you, provided I don't get any messages saying I am breaking the law.

Oh yeah. You eat some of the best food on RAGBRAI. My favorites are Chris Cakes Breakfast's, Pork Chop Man's grilled Iowa Chop's, the grilled sweet corn, & the Freeze Your Noggin frozen lemonade's. Oh the joys of living in Iowa!

OLN's Bicycle Journal had a rather extensive piece on ragbrai several weeks ago. The locals seem to enjoy it as much as the cyclists.

This part of the country has some of the best eatin around----come to Omaha is you want to know what a real steak tastes like.

Italian sausages with Mancini peppers on Rotella's hoagies are a local favorite too.

You have to remember---that's there's not much to do around here- esp. in winter----so eating is a big deal around these parts----lol.
