Foo - Job Searching

Although I'm new to to board, I figured it couldn't hurt to ask anyway. I live in Northern New Jersey and am currently seeking employment. I've been out of work for about 2 months now and have had no luck finding employment. My background is in design, marketing, sales, IT and management. Basically, I'm willing to do just about anything or be trained in anything at this point. If anyone could help by possibly submitting my resume with their company, I'd really appreciate it.

I don't have an company to give you but I just wanted to say hang in there. Something will turn up. :)

I know its hard, I've been looking for a new job since November of last year.

Why not go freelance? All those skills you have will come in handy for that.. It's not that hard if you're able to sell yourself a little.

I've found the trick is to be willing to relocate.

That's a little tricky for me. I'd love to and have had the opportunity, but I need to be close to my family so I turned it down (as much as I hate to).

Sorry. I do freelance work, but honestly, I hate it. I really prefer a set 9-5 job. Having to freelance means I'm not sure when I'll eat next. It can get very stressful.

Fair enough, didn't you build up any good relationship with patrons during your freelancing career? I'd start there myself..
